Safe, happy and looked after
Safeguarding
Every child deserves to enjoy football in a fun and safe environment. Here’s how we look after the children in our care.
Our commitments
Safe hands, every session
FA Charter Standard
Awarded after an FA health check covering quality coaching, Respect and child protection. We were named Charter Standard Club of the Year in 2015.
Respect codes of conduct
We follow The FA’s Respect programme, with codes of conduct for players, parents, coaches and spectators.
DBS-checked coaches
Coaches and volunteers working with children hold an enhanced DBS check.
Health information
Our registration form asks about any health problems so coaches can look after every child.
Photo consent
If you don’t want your child photographed, email Info@ahffc.org and we’ll make sure they aren’t.
Emergency contacts
We collect a second parent or guardian contact to use in an emergency if we can’t reach the primary contact.
