Rooted in our community
OurCommunity
Football that brings Blackburn together. Breaking barriers and changing perceptions, one match, one tournament and one cup of tea at a time.
What we do off the pitch
More than a football club
Over 50s walking football
Every Wednesday at Pleckgate with Blackburn Rovers Community Trust since 2019. Around 30 players a week, with a guard of honour from the Wilpshire Wanderers juniors.
For Palestine tournament
160 children took part and £730 was raised, with AHF Scouts and Al Imdaad.
Football Unites
An event bringing fans from different communities together, raising money for Children in Need.
Respect on matchday
Respect briefings, shared food after the final whistle and picnics for both teams.
Faith and football
When a fixture clashed with Asr prayer, Blackburn Rovers Community Trust made space for players and parents to pray.
Fantasy Premier League
Join the AHF FC league for 2026/27 with code e0kskm. Join the league.
Blackburn’s Rock
79 years young and still defending
Yakub Bhola has survived two heart attacks and three operations, and he still plays walking football with us every Wednesday. His story was featured in the Lancashire Telegraph. We call him our Braveheart.

Positive touchlines
Parents play a huge part in children’s enjoyment of football. We ask every parent and spectator to:
- Encourage every player, on both teams
- Let the coaches coach and the referee referee
- Praise effort, not just results
- Keep language and behaviour positive and respectful
